Man Murders his father and grandmother, then had a house party.

(CBS/WCBS) MAPLE WOOD, N.J. - Police say a 26-year-old New Jersey man murdered his father and grandmother and then invited his friends over for a house party.

According to CBS New York, police arrested Dwayne Flourney on Tuesday night for allegedly murdering 76-year-old Sandra Flourney, a retired school teacher, and 52-year-old Brian Flourney, an investigator employed at the Union County Public Defender's Office.

Sandra and Brian Flourney reportedly lived
with the suspect in their home in Maplewood, less than 20 miles west of New York City.

Police were dispatched to the home after concerned co-workers and family members told them Brian Flourney had failed to show up to work, CBS New York reports.

Police say they discovered Brian Flourney dead on the home's back porch and the Essex County Homicide Task Force found Sandra Flourney in a car trunk in a garage attached to the home, reports CBS New York. Both had multiple stab wounds.

A preliminary investigation indicates Dwayne Flourney stabbed his grandmother and father on Saturday, hid the bodies and invited friends to the home for a party, authorities reportedly said. Dwayne Flourney was arrested at a girlfriend's home in Phillipsburg.

According to CBS New York, he suspect is being held at Essex County Correctional Facility and charged with two counts of murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and theft.

Bail was reportedly set at $1 million and Dwayne Flourney is expected to be arraigned on March 20.
