FG reduces pump price of petrol to N97 per litre
In a broadcast by 7am this morning, president Jonathan said "given the hardships being suffered by Nigerians, and after due consideration and consultations with state governors and the leadership of the National Assembly, government has approved the reduction of the pump price of petrol to N97 per litre".
Labour has in the meantime suspended street protests/rallies to embark on a sit at home strike.

The Thirst can be described as women who are overly eager to find men. Every week they are in search of Mr. Right. The thirst, usually turn them into chatty and desperate, it is this desperation that turns men off and make these ladies unattractive.

This is talking about the funky smelling weave-ons with the tracks showing. Or the women who think dry and flaky hair is the in-thing.
All the men ask is for you to just do your hair neatly kind and look presentable for yourself not necessarily for them.

President Jonathan orders the arrest of #OccupyNigeria activists?
In a bid to undermine the growing protest against his government's removal of fuel subsidy, President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the SSS to arrest civil rights attorney, Femi Falana, Fiery Lagos pastor, Tunde Bakare, ex-member of house of representatives, Dino Melaye and and Kaduna based activist, Shehu Sanni.
Two sources within the State Security Services told Saharareporters that the security agency had received presidential instructions to move against these four men as well as other perceived organizers of the resistance against the government's dramatic increase of the price of fuel.
"The presidency has decided that the way to break the protest is to go after those that the government believed to be the brains organizing the #Occupy Nigeria protests, " said one of the sources.

Church Of God Mission In Port Harcourt Bombed
Less than 48 hours after unidentified persons bombed the office Registrar of the Rivers State University Science and Technology, RSUST, in Port Harcourt, southsouth Nigeria, arsonists early Sunday morning burnt down Church of God Mission International along Bernard Carr Street in Port Harcourt.
Though the motive behind the action could not be ascertained, it was gathered that the arsonists set the church building on fire using petrol bomb.

UK arms dealer smuggled 80 thousand rifles & 32 million rounds of ammunition to Nigeria in 2007
A British-based arms dealer helped organise the shipment of thousands of guns from China to Nigeria without the necessary licence, a court has heard.
Gary Hyde partly arranged and organised the shipment in 2007 of 80,000 rifles and pistols and 32 million rounds of ammunition. Southwark Crown Court heard he did not receive permission from the relevant government department.
